Topic: The BOOST project was presented to farmers and entrepreneurs developing their businesses in the municipality of Brezovo. The local authorities also attended the meeting in the presence of the Deputy Mayor, Mr. Petar Petrov. Dr. Petar Borisov from Agricultural University – BOOST project partner presented the main outlines of the project, namely the project goal and objectives, work packages and products, and the result of the project activities. The leading digital technologies used to develop local farms were discussed. In the area of Brezovo municipality, some farms have mainly specialized in producing potatoes, peanuts, vines, and walnuts. A number of foreign investors have also invested in local agriculture. Precision agriculture is not unfamiliar as a management tool. A prominent local winery uses precision technology in its production. The winery owner shared the advantages of precision farming technology in managing his farms.
