I’ll admit it, I got impatient. I’d been looking for weeks, found a car I loved, the seller seemed genuine and the price was fair, so I skipped the inspection to save time and a bit of money. Within three months the gearbox started slipping and it turned out the transmission had been patched up just enough to sell. Cost me nearly half what I paid for the car to fix. Looking back, the signs were there, the seller was very keen to close the deal quickly and kept steering me away from taking it anywhere. I’ve since learned about used car inspection before you buy in Al Nahda and honestly I wish I’d known how easy it was to arrange one, since it would have caught the issue before I handed over any money. Sharing this mainly so others don’t make the same mistake. Has anyone else bought without inspecting and gotten lucky, or did it blow up on you like it did for me?
