We’re planning a fairly extensive remodel covering the kitchen, two bathrooms, and some structural work, and the question of whether to move out is dominating every conversation we have about it. Some people say it’s impossible to live through, others say you just adapt and save the money. I’ve been looking at Kitchen and Bath Palo Alto home remodeling, but I’d rather hear from people who’ve actually lived through a project of this size. Did you move out or stay, and would you make the same choice again? Also, at what point does staying become genuinely impractical, like when the kitchen’s gone for weeks or the bathrooms are out of action? I’d rather plan realistically than assume we can tough it out.
