Infotainment screen keeps rebooting and the dealer is stumped

My infotainment screen has started rebooting itself randomly, sometimes once a journey and sometimes three or four times in ten minutes, and it’s driving me mad. The dealer kept the car for a day, said they couldn’t replicate it, and gave it back, which was helpful. It feels like an electrical or software issue rather than a hardware failure since everything works fine between reboots. I’m near ICAD so I’ve been looking for Reliable car electrical fault diagnosis near ICAD, though I’m not sure if this is the sort of thing a general electrical place can handle or if it needs a specialist with the right diagnostic software. Has anyone had a rebooting infotainment unit and what was the actual cause? I’m hoping it’s something simple like a loose connection or a failing module rather than the whole head unit needing replacement, because those sound expensive.
